Discovered Metric Motors from this website and now Jerry
Edelman has done work for me several times over the last 5
years on a Mercedes and a Toyota. Every time he has done
the work within 1 workday which made it convenient to drop
off and pick up, told me beforehand what he thought the
problem was and then called to verify the solution, and
charged a very reasonable amount for the work. Highly
recommend Metric Motors.

Correctly diagnosed and repaired my Toyota pickup's (5-speed
manual) shifting problems.
Price was quite reasonable, and the job was done when
promised. The repair was 100% successful the first time,
and I've had zero problems. He had the vehicle overnight,
and told me he would park it inside.
Interesting place. Fairly small shop (three bays). I only
saw one person working there (the owner). Shop is clean and
orderly - very business-like. Owner seems like a nice guy.
Soft-spoken and willing to describe the work in detail.
He showed me the old parts without my asking.
He does not accept credit cards (which he didn't tell me
when I dropped the truck off). When I pulled out a credit
card to pay, he asked me to just mail him a check.
I am pleased with the repair and the experience. I am very
likely to take vehicles there in the future. My only
complaint would be that the steering wheel had dried grease
(from the mechanic's hands?) on part of the rim.

Jerry solved a problem with my Ford truck, (even though he
had to put his head in a paper bag while he drove it home)
to figure out the problem. Has solved problems on the spot
in his clean, neat workshop

I'm biased only because my wife has been a customer of
Metric Motors for years. I've only been there once. But
the treatment I got was commendable. He could have charged
me $750 for an oil leak, but he was more than willing to
suggest that I just keep an eye on it.
