Definitely one of the better places to take your older car in Wilkes County.

Dave and his entire family work at the shop. Expect
nothing but friendly faces. He operates his shop like a
doctor, he always comes out to FULLY explain any problems
you may have with your vehicle. I HIGHLY recommend Dave's
Car Care.

Best shop I've ever visited. Does the job right the first
time. Very reasonable prices. In 1996, David made
a "temporary fix" for a serious engine problem that he
hoped would get us through for a while. I don't know what
he did, but 10 years and over 120,000 miles later, the same
Ford Escort (now with 165,000 miles on it) is still running
(it's also stil ugly).

David and his team are very helpful people. David takes
the time to explain what the issue is and how to go about
fixing it. I've been taking both, my Nissan Sentra and
Dodge GC to David's placed and they take very good care of
both. It's always a sense of relief to handover our cars
to them.

My Passat TDI lost acceleration power in the hills of West Virginia on the way
from a trip to Cincinnati to my parent's house in Wilkesboro. We called David's
around 4:15 on a Friday hoping that he would be open on Saturday to work on
the car. He's not open on Saturday, but said that he would take a look if we
brought it in right away. We did and he was able to give us a preliminary
diagnosis and assure us that we could get the car home to Raleigh safely where
we could leave it with the dealer for a longer amount of time. He and the staff
were cheerful and helpful even though it was so close to their weekend closing
time. He had the equipment needed to run the diagnostics, a spacious and clean
waiting room, and was very knowledgeable. Thanks!
