Customer Service is his middle name (and not hyphenated). I took my 1989 Sentra to him last summer when it had a problem with the radiator getting quite hot. We tried various theories -- thermostat, fan motor, coolant flow, combustion chamber buildup, computer control and the quality of my temp gauge. Neither a new thermostat and housing nor a tune-up nor a new radiator have completely fixed the problem a year and a half later, but I have to say Rick has been very dedicated, patient with me, and (most importantly) he wrote off some of the cost of the unsuccessful repairs. Perhaps the guys at ____, ____, and ____ (various transmission and muffler shops omitted by editorial decree) would say he's a sap, but I appreciate a mechanic who is willing to learn with me when he's run out of things to teach.
