This is a great shop that gets most of its business through word of mouth. You usually deal directly with the owner. My best experience with C & S was having my timing belt changed. They had it done in half the time at half the prices I was quoted elsewhere. On several occasions I have taken my car in to have the brakes cleaned out (the rear breaks are drum and can get loud.) The owner could have easily told me it was time for new brakes, but he did not. On several occasions my wife has called and been treated with honesty and respect, while waiting for service I have seen women treated properly by C & S. I would recommend this shop to anyone needing a good mechanic.

This shop is great! They don't screw around and they don't screw you. They get the job done really fast and really cheap. They always explain what's wrong, why and what your options are on how to deal with it. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

Excellent excellent excellent. My Suzuki Aero service engine light came on and there was a noise when the a/c was on. They ordered me a new catalytic converter at half the cost of the deal. They figured the noise was from the belt tensioner but said the belt was fine. After they got it all back together the noise was still there. So, they said that they made a mistake and the belt was stretched. They covered the price of the belt and the labor! I will return to this shop

Very honest, competent, and reasonably priced. If things don't need fixing, they don't fix it. If they are not sure of the problem, they admit it and don't just throw parts at it. I have never had a bad experience at this shop.

I've had several inspections performed, timing belt changed, O2 sensor diagnosed/changed, lower "A" arm changed, and alignments on Toyota, Honda and Infiniti automobiles. Even a free diagnostic test drive (with no repair recommended!). On a slow day, these guys have even patched tires while I waited. Always upfront about prices, interesting magazines in the waiting room. And NO boat -trailer hitch on the owner's car!!! I do all I can on my car, but when I can't, I take it to these guys. FYI -They're about 5 miles from Charlotte Motor Speedway if you're in town for a race.
