We have used Daniel Brothers for anything other than dealer warranty work for fourteen years. We have never had a problem with somthing not done right the first time. They are the epitomy of gentlemen and "good old boys." Although we moved last year, further away from Daniel Brothers, my wife wouldn't consider using anyone else. Ed Cerne PS, Mr. Daniel is such a gentleman, he fixed a car donated to a homeless organization for free so one of the clients could have reliable transportation.

I stopped in (based on Mechan-X-Files recommendations already here) for a NC inspection. They were fast, polite, and managed to squeeze my Saturn in for an inspection. Total time was maybe 20 minutes. I'll definitely be back.

I took my car to Daniels Brothers to address a check engine light issue. They insisted that I would need to leave the car with them all day for them to get a chance to read the error code. They called me in the afternoon and told me that I needed a new coil pack but wouldn't answer questions about it. Furthermore, they demanded I decide if I wanted to replace it (at a cost of over three times that of other area mechanics) within 20 minutes or they wouldn't work on it until the following week. Perhaps these guys are okay for oil changes, but I certainly wouldn't trust them to do anything more complex.

I was disappointed with this mechanic. I brought my vehicle in for a simple problem and instead of just saying they were not interested in working on it, they quoted me some 1700 dollars for a problem that a nearby mechanic solved for 150 dollars. In addition, they insisted I decide on the repairs immediately or they wouldn't work on the car until the following week. They made no efforts to address a second matter that I had asked about. I certainly would never trust these guys with my car again.
