Griffin is pretty straightforward. At one point I thought I needed new tires, and they laughed and said that the computer was erroneously sending low tire pressure messages and that Buick would fix it gratis. They were right! I've bought tires from them, had state inspections and small repairs done there as well as oil/lube/fluids. I like them.

I took my excellently-maintained Ford Taurus there a few weeks ago due to a coolant leak. While very friendly and helpful with rides, they recommended $1800 worth of work to make it road-safe, including 4 hoses and they told me that I needed to replace my valve covers as well. Griffin gave me 3 levels of care, up to $3000 if I did all they recommended. They insisted I take a loaner and fought me on giving me my keys that night, telling me it was "unsafe". The next day, I picked up my car (without an argument - I told them we could afford the repairs right away)and took it for a second opinion. The next mechanic's estimate was under $250 - they only wanted to replace the coolant resevoir. I took it to the second mechanic and the leak went away completely. I have had no problems since.
