Mike was able to take my vehicle with no notice and repair for use the next day. He saved me $500 when I told him of a quote from "those other guys". I would take my first born to him for repair!

I had some significant ignition problems with my Volvo. Mike showed me how to find the codes in the car's computer and what the codes meant. He scheduled a final repair at my convenience. He also did a terrific mechanical inspection of a vehicle we were planning to buy (we didn't buy it). He has a great sense of troubleshooting, trying the little things first!

Mike is great. Very accessible, always ready to explain the problem in detail and always looks for the cheapest way to fix something on cars like mine pushing 200K. I've taken it in with a problem for which I'm ready to pay big (or at least medium) dollars, and he fixes it for twelve bucks. He's does great work and has never taken advantage of my automotive stupidity.

Mike Reed is great. He explained everything, treated me like a human being, and did not talk down to me because I am a female. He gave me options and was very honest and fair. After some bad experiances at other mechanics, he restored my faith. Best part...he told me to junk my POS 96 Passat, best advice I ever took.

Mike has always been honest and fair with me. He gave me repair options knowing my Porsche was old. Once he called me the night I picked up the car. He was worried that he missed something and knew I was going on a road trip! I brought it in early the next morning and everything was fine. I recommended others to him who had American cars, and they had similar excellent results. A few years ago he injured his back and had some staff turnovers. I stopped going there, and have regretted it ever since. I still hear good things about his shop. Perhaps he will take me back!

Specific ways I know Mike is honest: I once heard him tell a customer on the phone that he (Mike) could fix the problem, but that the customer could fix it faster and cheaper. Then he told him how to do it. Mike also sent me back to the dealer for a particular repair he thought they could do better. I refer people to A & A whenever have the opportunity. P. S. -- he has a cardboard box of paperback books in the corner, indicating that you should take one if you see anything you like. Who else does that?!?
