I was living in asheville at the time. My grandfather had used Mr. Cox for some time. He would take the time to check out used cars, at no charge. I had recenly "drown" my car(don't ask). It ran,but not as well, and would die often. The garage took it and had it fixed the same day. They had scared me some when they told me how much the new part would be. When the mechanic returned he explained that the price had been less than he had thought, and showed the receipt.(now that's honest). I had long known that they really liked GM. The mechanic was making the repairs to my car when I noticed that another was working on a Ford truck. That customer jokingly ask if they were going to charge him more because he had a Ford. The reply came back,"No, we do like GM,but it is Ford that keeps us in work." They had made a friend for life.

As a woman with three old cars, it's important to me that I
feel that I am respected and treated honestly. I know
something about cars because in my poorer days I worked on
my own cars. I was VERY pleased to find Cox Auto. They've
worked on my Plymouth mini-van, my 1989 Mazda 323 and my
1961 Ford Falcon. Three or four of the many times I have
taken a car in, they have fixed a very minor problem and
not charged me! No bill. I love these guys!

The folks at Cox Auto have talked me out of repairs I didn't
need, and they have gone above & beyond on the repairs I did
need. I've been consistently impressed with their service
and I will bring my car to them every time.
