So, after the head of the local Toyota service department
said of my Celica when I complained about how noisy the
engine was "what do you want, it's 9 years old!", I took it
to Auto Medic on a friends recommendation and after a major
tune up and new engine mounts, it sounded like when I drove
it off the lot!
they did work on my Celica until I got rid of it (clutch,
ignition coil, antenna lariat, etc.) and recommended my
current car, a mini cooper, even though they knew it
wouldn't come to them for work. They are really great
guys, and when my car died, they came and got me and drove
me to work, they did whatever it took to get me back on the
road as soon as possible, and never treated me like an
idiot girl. They are the only mechanics I have dealt with
in the 20 odd years of owning cars I would unreservedly
recommend.

New to this area, we took my fiancee's Sentra to get
serviced and a check-up since it had been a while since the
last (as she was kinda ripped off by the Nissan mechanic
where we used to live). They did NOT do a bunch of stuff
they didn't need to do (GOOD), they called us to tell us
exactly what they could and couldn't do (they couldn't
flash the computer to fix a known bug with the fuel sensor
and a Nissan dealer would have to do that) and then they
fixed everything quickly and gave us the correct total
price (causing me to unnecessarily ask if tax had indeed
been applied). They will get our business again, for
sure! Everyone I talked to was really nice, and they have
a nice lobby. Didn't get a chance to try the coffee,
though... (PS - We found them using this website!)
