I have been going to Otto Service for 5 years. Alan Otto and his guys know more about Honda and Acura than anyone in KC or the Midwest for that matter. Their prices are well below dealer, they are not pushy, and never have me repair things that don't need fixing. It's easy to understand why Alan has been in business 25 years- it's because he understands that customers come first. His customers are so loyal to him that one of his custoemrs drives his cars back from NY every summer for Otto to service them. Just last month the couple I sat with in the waiting area - which is very clean- has been seeing Otto for 15 years! I give Otto 5 stars!

They did the 90K service on my Accord, as well as several other repairs. Excellent, thorough work overall I did encounter one problem. They replaced a window regulator for me, and a few days later, the glass popped out of the track. I took the car back in, and they had it fixed that day at no charge.

Suggest you not leave your car in the parking area after hours. Mine had some damage but no one could ex[plain how it happend. Maybe someone tried to steal it.

I have driven honda's for years and know a bit about car repair myself. I brought in an older vehicle with lots of little overdue maint. stuff to be done and a couple of little things that had been bugging me. They were very competent, knew exactly what was going on when I described the problems (a few of them very obscure honda specific issues) and fixed them all professionaly and very quickly. On top of that the price was extremely fair, I checked around. I don't even want to think how much all of the stuff I had done would have been at a dealer... I would have gotten rid of the car. If you have a Honda or Acura and you need something done or looked at you should give them a try. There's nothing like having someone who looks at your type of car all day do the work for you. The other people I've talked to when I was picking up or dropping off have felt the same way.

One of our cars once needed a new computer. Since the car was 11 years old, they suggested installation of a used computer, perfectly OK except the "drive" light didn't come on. (The other gear lights showed fine.) The cost was a small fraction of the price of a new one, and the part worked fine for all the time we owned the car.
