I went in with a 1998 for f-150 with what I thought was a slipping transmission. I was asked if I would take a ride and show them what kind of problem I was having. They hooked up a diagnostic machine under the dash and during the drive I showed them what I was experiencing. They said the machine was showing no problem with the transmission. They kept the truck for the day and the next day I was called and told that I had a clogged fuel filter. The replaced it and it only cost me a few bucks. They could have screwed me over big time.

Three times I have taken a vehicle to work on. Each time, they were able to tell me the problem was not my transmission. They could have easily have taken advantage of me and hit me with a large bill. The first turned out to be a bad u joint on a ford truck, the second was a 1985 celebrity wagon that turned out to be nothing, and the third was the transmission on a 2002 explorer. The explorer they explained has had a problem with transmissions, and they suggested to take it to the ford dealership. It ended up being something covered under warranty. They are the best!
