Jim and Bob are great guys. They are honest, reasonably priced (labor charges are some of the lowest in area), and will treat you right (can't make it by 5 pm to pick up the car? They'll leave the cars in it and you can pay them tomorrow). Foreign cars and transmissions aren't their strong suit but they'll tell you that up front and recommend someone else if need be. I highly recommend them.

Had a torn CV boot on my Civic and the dealership recommended axle replacement over repair. Jim and Chuck worked the numbers for both, and with less than $20 difference, I chose replacement. Job was done quickly and saved me nearly $100 vs dealer estimate.

Okay, my 1998 Civic was due for a timing belt replacement and also had a cracked exhaust manifold, which is an error by the evil Honda engineers to use this expensive and flawed part in the first place. The dealer quoted me nearly $1500 to do the two repairs on a $5000 car...but a new Civic costs nearly $20,000. I can do the math. Since JR's had fixed my axle problems, I called them again. They saved me another $500 and got me back on the road with new belts and stuff, and I don't sound like a Harley anymore. You'll never find nicer guys anywhere, and I would recommend them even if you don't sound like a Harley. They ask before they spend your money, they don't put in new parts that you don't need, and the ones they do put in come with a warranty. Two thumbs up!

Jim is always very polite and very helpful. He does a great job for a great price. He has offered to drive me to my house and pick me up when the car is ready. He's a one man job, so you have to schedule ahead, but if you really need him for something relatively quick, he can squeeze you in.
