Mac is an automotive genius and a thoroughly wonderful individual. I have seen him fix every wierd thing with wheels you can imagine, from Mazdas to Mercedes, tractors, motorcycles, even Fiats & MGs His shop is the only place around where you see DeLoreans & classic T-Birds. He doesn't need to advertise, if you have "one of those" cars, you probably know him. Mac has gone way out of his way to help all of the customers I know. He will give you the lowdown on what will happen in the future with any problem you can name. He's saved me thouusands on problem cars with his encyclopedic knowledge. Now, if he would just work on that timeliness thing.. (If you really need it, he'll get it done. If it's a hobby car, well, go buy some green bananas) My highest recommendations as a mechanic & an exemplary human being.

I've been taking my jalopies to Mac for about 25 years or more. He's as honest as the day is long and probably forgets more about cars in ten minutes than a great mechanic has ever known about them. He inspects my cars every year for just a few bucks, and we fix anything that doesn't look right. The only problem is a great one to have. I tell him to fix or replace anything he finds wrong, and he keeps bothering me with information about what needs to be done and how much it will cost. Call him up with a problem, and he'll give you three diagnostic steps to find and fix the problem so you don't have to bring it in. How many mechanics do that. And to boot, he's a keen wit and has more outside interests than you can shake a stick at. My praise is dangerous because it's like telling someone about the best fishing hole in the state.
