I have been a customer since 1986 and my principal car is a toyota. They are now doing repairs on domestics from 1987 to present models but because I have been a customer for so long they still do work on my car. I have had only one incident when something was broken by the garage and the owner told me what was broken and repaired it at no charge to me. Only a honest person would have told me but that is the type of garage Werner runs. I stopped taking my car to the dealership because I had to take the car back to them each time. With 15th St. Auto I have never had to take my car back once as the work is done correctly the first time. He keeps me up to date on what services are needed and when. This garage is the first one I have ever taken a car too and not had to be worried about leaving the car or something beng done that is not necessary. It is a clean, well managed shop with excellant workers and everyone connected with the garage is polite,well-mannered and considerate. I am proud to tell everyone about 15th St Auto. It is the best!

The manager, Joe, seems competent and seems very knowledgeable, but I needed a tune up on my 2000 pickup and afterwards it ran very badly and I was charged an enormous fee. I took it to another mechanic and he repaired it so that it ran smoothly for a nominal fee. If Joe is personally supervising the work, I think it gets done well, but if not, you may or may not get good work and you may get charged for a lot of coffee breaks. Frankly, they only seem to want to work on very new cars. My wife bought a 9 year old van to use for local deliveries. She took it to them and they told her to get rid of it, they didn't really want to work on it. She tried to get it looked at prior to purchase, but the entire shop had closed for vacation. She's put over 50K additional miles on it with only routine maintenance (by another shop).
