An honest name for an honest garage. Joe and Ross and their guys may not run the neatest office in town, but they do good work -- and what's more, they don't do it if it's not needed. They'll keep your clunker on life support as long as possible and let you know when it's time for a decent burial. They don't do transmission work or body work, but will have a whack at anything else. Hours 8-6 M- F. Bonus: located next to frozen custard stand and Steak 'n Shake. Extra bonus: Museum-worthy collection of old headlines from Weekly World News.

These guys are very honest. They have even recommended that I do nothing, if the repair is expensive, with little benefit to me. They are respectful to my wife and daughters also, explaining what they did and why. Had a fuel filter leak once (different shop), and they charged me less than $10 to do the repair, as it only involved a seal.

They are almost always spot on with their estimates, both cost and time. My wife and I have taken five cars there over the years for service and I can't think of a time we had to return for the same problem twice. Good service all around.
