This shop has always done me right. The first time that I
went in, I had a list from another local repair shop of
$2,000 worth of repairs that they said that my car "needed
badly." When I showed the list to the people in Plaza Tire,
they looked at the car and decided that it only needed $150
of work. They did it, and four years later the car still
works great.
They are always honest and do not charge if it is not
necessary. I went in one time expecting to have to pay a
lot of money because my horn was not working, and when I
came to pick up the car, they said that they just had to
replace one of the wires and did not charge me anything. I
was happy because a shop closer to where I live estimated $500.
I live in Saint Louis now, but I still make sure to save all
routine work for Plaza Tire when I am in Columbia. If you
are in Columbia and can either get a ride from and to their
location or can wait in the waiting room for a while, then I
recommend Plaza Tire. It is somewhat close to the Orange
bus line, but by the time that the bus gets you home, the
car will probably be finished.
