These guys are quite simply the most honest mechanics I
have ever visited. I do most of my maintenance and
repairs myself, but when a serious job comes along these
guys get my buisness. I once screwed up the installation
of a pair of headers, I installed them in Michigan, and by
the time I made it back to Minnesota they were Steel Swiss
Cheese! I forgot to take into account the fact that the
suspension components move around while you drive the car,
and did not give sufficient clearance. I don't own a
welder so I found the first available mechanic (this was
the first time I visited the autotechs) They put new
manifolds on, added a short segment of pipe to reach the
old ones, and seven years later they still havn't sprung a
leak! Best of all they have never tried to sell me or my
family crap we don't need!

They have always done a good job for me. A friend of mine
had a intermitent problem with his car not starting. The
autotech guy said it could be one of two things, each
equally likely. Instead of changing one, they insatlled a
simple light. They said next time the problem occured, not
whether the light was on or off and they would know which
component was failing. This worked and is the best service
I have ever heard of.
