The crew at 37th T & A have been fixing my cars for over 10 years. They seem to posess v good diagnostic skills to accurately fix electronic problems as well as mechanical problems. They usually get it right the first time, and I have never had reason to question their honesty. For instance, my minivan (plymouth) transmission was not doing its lock-in thing at 55mph or so. I feared a transmission overhaul, but a $6 thermostat solved it - the engine was not heating up to the point where the electronics allowed the lock-up to happen. They have even scrounged up some experienced parts from a salvage yard for my older cars...all part of a day in the garage for them. I highly recommend the crew there!

I've never had a problem with these guys, even as mentioned elsewhere when the same crew was working for another shop, before that franchise got out of the repair business (went to 'convenience store'). When it's been a difficult problem, I've always been charged for the fix - not the diagnostics (It took them hours once to track down what became a small pinhole leak in a vaccuum line - $15). If there's more than one way to fix something, they call: My transmission was having problems - they diagnosed it to a corroded throttle sensor. They said they could fix it - for $xxx - or just disconnect it, and I'd have to shift to second manually - $xx. They charge based on the average book time for a repair, and if something goes wrong, they don't charge extra.

They are always friendly, courteous and professional. I have taken 3 different cars there over the last 11 years. I have only had one problem with a repair in all that time and they came and towed my car in and fixed it at no additional charge. They also have a great shuttle service.

The crew at 37th Street Auto is always helpful and friendly. They get the job done right the first time, and their prices are very fair. Our dogs love going with us to pick up the cars, because Jeri gives them treats! Who could ask for anything more?
