This is the best repair shop I've ever dealt with, and I have plenty of experience since I drive older cars and don't do my own repair work. Saieed is courteous, helpful, extremely competent, honest to a fault, and such a nice guy that you almost wish your car would break down more often so you'd have an excuse to chat with him. Don't be misled by the name -- this is the ideal all-around repair shop, worth going out of your way for.

The shop was started by Saed, who was shrewd and clever about smart, responsible ways to save you money, even sending you to another mechanic if he thought that would be more economical. The new owner, Steve, is honest and competent. But if you are looking for someone to take the time to save you a buck, he's not your man. He's hesitant to use aftermarket parts or standard hoses or parts; I think he's just overly cautious or doesn't want to do the research into economical alternatives. The mechanics there are excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend the work; they are fair and timely. But if you are pinching pennies and want someone to responsibly put in a little extra effort to save you some money they are not the best.

This used to be the best garage in the twin cities under the old ownership. Their customer service now is terrible. I have been going to them for five years because I live close by, but I will not go again. Now they just try to sell you unnecessary service. They recommended $300 worth of repairs that they told me Honda recommends for my car. I called the dealership and researched online and none of those repairs are recommended. When I told them this they were unapologetic. This is not the first bad experience I have had with the new ownership. My experience over the last few years is that they are only interested in making a fast buck and taking advantage of their customers.
