The name 'Great Brakes' sells this repair shop short. While the owner, Worku, and his crew do a great job on brakes, they've successfully and very fairly fixed a variety of issues my older Volkswagen has encountered. Everything from oil changes to new water pumps to heated seats stuck on have been taken care of timely, economically, and successfully. One 10-below Minnesota morning, Worku even drove a few blocks to rescue a colleague of mine whose car needed jumping. Great Brakes is located just East of 280 & University - directly next to Cupcake...not a bad place to set up shop with your laptop while your oil is being changed.

Worku is great - couldn't recommend him more. I don't use my car very often, and he's often shocked that I don't need it back the same day.

Worku always sticks to the times he tells us. He works fast, is very nice, beats any other shop we have tried on every level.

Worku is always nice and gets work done fast. Discusses budget and what can be done before he starts work.
