Eric Werner is the mechanic who has done all the work on my vehicles. We own a '95 Buick Lesabre, '00 Dodge Ram Diesel, and a '97 Monte Carlo. Eric just rebuilt the motor on the Monte, it blew in '04, and it has sat the last 6 years so there have been a lot of other things that need to be done because of it sitting. He is always up front with us and tells us the best he can how much the parts will cost and what labor will be, there aren't any surprises when it comes to him doing the work. He is always available to help if something happens, and will always do anything and everything to help. Last month, the Buick broke its motor mounts, and we had the truck parked in front of it on the side of the road, because, with broken mounts, the tranny lines disconnected and some of the lines pulled loose from the shake. Eric was on his way home and saw the truck sitting on the side of the road (at this time he had put a LOT of hours in on the Monte). He got out of his car and seeing the truck and jokingly said " Hell no, not this one too! This thing is a beast!" Then he saw the Buick sitting behind the truck and just started laughing. (Lately, we have not had any luck with vehicles.) He ran home to grab the tools needed to put the lines back on and to fill the fluids that had run out after the lines pulled loose. Looked at everything after it was running and started telling us how and what needed to be fixed. Got the car so it was able to limp back home, and said if we needed he would get to work on it. He is always there for anyone with trouble; we live in Brownton, MN, and he works in Litchfield. If you can't get to Litchfield, he will do what he can to do the work in Brownton. I have other shops in the area do the work on my cars and have always been treated like a girl who doesn't know anything.( Growing up in Rural MN, before cell phones you had to know how to do things if the car broke down cause you didn't know when someone would drive by. So it really ticks me off when shops do that.) Eric will explain everything the best he can, if you don't understand he will try to explain it in a way that you.
