I first went there thirty years ago. I told them I had always done my own work but this one stumped me. I also told them I didn't have much money. Since we were talking about a '78 Chevette, they believed me about the money part. They fixed it and charged me $15. They have maintained their high level of customer service through the years and their mechanical abilities are without question. Customers who own luxury cars go there as well as guys with winter beaters. They screwed up maybe twice in thirty years and immediately acknowledged their mistake. They then made it right with no charge. Before I could even ask them about the charge, they indicated that they had taken care of the tow. And, they tell me when I am wasting my money if I suggest a repair that they do not think is warranted. It is a family business with two daughters as the front desk folks. I am old enough to still have in the back of my mind that car stuff is a man's world. However, the two daughters put me to shame with their knowledge of cars and mechanical things.
