On Several high dollar repairs he has fixed the vehicle and allowed payment in installments. Always looks the car over for potential problems and reports them.Always explains the potential penalty for waiting to repair, sometimes not do the repair as a result. Has performed extra work at no additional cost.

Dave is honest and does great work, he will take the ime to talk with you, advise you on what needs to be fixed and what can wait. He is good at tracking down problems. I have finally found a great repair shop with a mechanic I can trust. I highly recommend this place.

We are leaving the area, and it will be difficult to find someone elsewhere whom I trust more than Dave. He's recommended against repairs that the dealer has tried to foist on me, and always looks at the least costly option first.

I moved up from Ann Arbor a year ago, and I feared that I wouldn't find an honest mechanic for my '97 Accord. That fear was unnecessary as Brown's Auto Clinic is one of the more outstanding car shops I have had in my constant relocations around the United States. I was really surprised when I asked him about some minor issues with my car and he told me (paraphasing a little bit): "I can fix it, but will it be worth it in the long run for your car?" That's honesty, and I truly appreciate that kind of honesty when my car has a limited life span. They don't have rental cars, but they will drive you to work if you drop your car off. He has done some simple repair work for free, and he does quality work. Due to the region, it can take some time for parts to get to the shop, but he gives you an honest estimate in how long it will take for the part to arrive. I wish all mechanics were as honest as Dave.

While on vacation, our vehicle sounded like there was a hammer pounding inside our engine. So we came onto this site to find a mechanic in the area. Brown's was the highest recommended auto repair shop in the area so we took our vehicle there. Mike and Dave were both very friendly and knowledgeable and took a look at our car right away. They fixed it that day and even dropped us off at a nearby knitting shop we wanted to visit so we didn't have to change our vacation plans. They were done in a very timely manner. They were really great!
