I don't have any particular anecdotes. Bert's a very good mechanic and he's trustworthy. Also, if you're poor (like a graduate student), Bert will find cheaper ways to fix things. He's always aware of your budget.

He put brake on my Volvo for almost 1/2 the pice of the
dealership. I was late to pick up my car and he waited
almost 1/2 hour, so that I was able to get my car that
night. Another volvo person recommended him to me, and he
was right.

Burt was recomended by a friend of mine. He seems to do
good work and constantly warned against alowing children to
ride in my little Festiva.
