Have had very good rapore with this shop for all work on my VW rabbits (three total over the years). They hve given me options on what is needed and costs before work is started. Have always gotten my vehicle back the same day, except when I had a new diesel engine installed, Highly recommend this mechanic and service staff, Have been doing business with them for over eight years and I have to drive 65 miles to get to them (they are not the closest)

i. ve bought 3 audis from gary smith over 8 years. I ve always had excellent service. i travel from marquette, 67mi away and when i have business in town they take me to and from work. since i make the trip about 3 times a month, i m even asked to bring colleague's cars - same treatment. i just retired and no longer have audis but would highly recommend them.

Not recommended for work on older Volksies especially with air cooled engines. After we took ours there, we only made it 30 miles before we realized that we were leaking oil from misplaced gaskets. We limped along and got to my old mechanic down the road and basically he was in shock that a Dealership did what they did to the engine. (ie: goop in all of the push rod tubes...) Anyway- high priced and not worth the money if you have an older vehicle.

"Joe" is very skilled at diagnosing a problem and explaining it. He has kept our 1986 and 1994 old Volvos running well, even though they have not been a Volvo dealer. The nearest dealer is over 100 miles away, but they have worked with the dealer when the Volvos were new, and kept them running. They are still going strong. They have also serviced our 1990 and 2009 Audis. This dealership has given us top service for 26 years.
