See Ken. He is a good guy and they will dop more than just
sell tires, which is their main business. I've gone there
for 7 years and they have done all sorts of things for my
various cars- brakes, tires, starter, oil change, outside
engine work, muffler etc. Good reliable shop! Fast too!

Ken, in particular, is an agreeable, helpful guy running
the counter.
They have been honest and helpful, recommending short-term
solutions that made them no money.
I have always felt their pricing was reasonable and that
they have been very open in discussing the issue, the
reapair, and options.
They have even topped off my brake fluid for me when I
rolled in with a brake light on, at no charge.

Ken is a good straight shooter. Told me to come back in six
months for tires, mine are Ok. Put in a new starter, sold
me tires for several cars. New muffler etc. Did brakes on
an Infinity for a fraction of what dealer and other shops
wanted. When there was a misunderstanding about a van
brakes (mechanic thought I wanted the disks cut rather than
replaced) they worked out a very fair price to redo the
job. Good, honest people in a sometimes crooked business.

Their name has been changed to "AA Muffler" - not
affiliated with THAT AAA, guess it confused some folks.
Ken is the owner/manager of this great repair shop.
Although his shop name says "mufflers", he has done other
repairs for us - and will refer when necessary. Ken is a
real "salt of the earth" kind of guy.

From the counter guys to the mechanics, I have been very
impressed by their competency. They have done work on two
of our vehicles, one they did not charge for (an adjustment
on a brake) when I thought we needed a new caliper.
The second vehicle needed all brakes done - they were fast,
extremely competitive on price and the job was done sooner
than I expected.

Over the course of many different repairs to my aging cars I
have found the staff at AA Muffler & Brakes to be honest,
pragmatic, and fair. They will go the extra mile to
diagnose a problem. They will make honest and pragmatic
recommendations about repairs that are "optional" when
budget is an issue (and when is it not?). They make fair
estimates and stick with the price.
On top of it all, they're nice folks.
