Clayton's offers competent service with the old "home town" friendliness.

It may take them awhile to get to it, but I can be confident that they will only do the necessary work and not overcharge. Willing to talk to customers and not make them feel like fools if they don't know much about cars. I've even taken work to them and said, "I can handle part of this but not all." Butch will only do what I asked him to do and leave the rest for me as requested. A couple times have had to go back to get something fixed "all the way," but they have never given me any flack about bringing something back. Excellent garage to do business with.

Out of town and looking for help, others couldn't get to me, so I drove away from town, and he took me right in, found the trouble visually (I couldn't see it). Pressure tested the system and saw it right away and quoted a price. I said do it, and he got to work on it right away showing how the part had deteriorated. It would be done the next day. I went in and he reduced the charge because it was easier than he had thought it would be. I really liked this mechanic. His Hours are a question as to when he wants to show, like the shop opens around 9AM or 10AM But worth the wait.
