Jim is just a great guy. I've had the truck die at the lumber yard (which is only a half-dozen blocks from the garage), and he's taken the time to come by, analyze the situation, and figure out how to get it back to the shop. He has put in starter motors for me late on a Friday afternoon. He is always friendly and willing to go the extra mile for his customers. He doesn't always know the answer, and isn't the greatest mechanic of all time, but he is honest and tries to make things work right and will do what is necessary to make things right. Plus, he knows more about rock and roll music than anyone I've ever talked to in my whole life, and I'm 49 years old.

Jim is excellent-honest and competent. He is willing to jockey his schedule to accomodate emergencies. I would highly recommend him to anyone in search of a trustworhy mechanic. In addition to his professional qualities, Jim has a dry sense of humor and, if prompted, is willing to share his vast and diverse knowledge of rock music. If you want to immediately impress him, call him by his nickname, "Jim-O-Pop".
