Although best known in our area as a great place to buy tires (and, by the way, they will rotate them free if you bought them here), Lenawee Tire also does general auto repair. They are honest and reasoanble, and properly diagnosed a brake problem for me that another shop attributed to "bad tires." You can trust them.

Took my car into the dealership for the 30,000 check up.
$400 later the manager said I needed to fix the brakes at a
charge of an additional $400. Disheartened at the
possibility of the expense, I took the car to Lenawee Tire
to look at the problem. I explained what the shop had told
me and then left the car. I just made it home when Dave at
Lenawee tire called and asked, "Why do you think you need
new brakes? These are fine. No charge. And the brakes
lasted another 30,000 miles. Honest. Fair. I recommend to
all people that are thinking about going to a dealership for
repairs. Go to Lenawee Tire first.

These people have taken care of 5 different cars ( two
ford, pontiac, two toyotas) for me for the past 12 years
and what I can say without hesitation is they are honest,
reasonably priced and completely competent - and know
their limitations so will not do work beyond their skill
levels. I have found there is not much they will
not/cannot do - only the most complicated or extensive
jobs, which come up rarely, will they have to pass on -
and then, they will recommend someone else to do the work.
I feel lucky to have them around - and have even brought
cars owned by firends from far away to them.
