We jokingly refer to them as the "Christian Mechanics - praise God and pass the WD-40." (A couple of them sport religious necklaces etc...) These guys have had ample opportunity to screw me on multiple repairs on 2 cars, yet they continue to work quick, cheap and good....a trio hard to find elsewhere. They have 13 bays - always 3 dozen cars out front (different ones each week) and are walking distance to a local greasy spoon restaurant. They work Saturdays....but you'd better be first in line or it may not be done in one day. I highly advise you to use another reparir mechanic, 'cause I don't want you gettin in line ahead of me. They are pretty swell...especially if you bring 'em cookies.

Went to their shop based on another review submitted about them. They did give us a reasonable deal on all the work and worked to get it done in a timely manner. Our car broke down on the way home from a trip away, so we were stuck at a hotel for two nights. They dropped us off and picked us up as a result. Very glad that they did that. The only trouble we seemed to have was in getting them to be communicative about the expected waiting time on parts and service (since we were held up in a hotel--versus just having our car in as a regular visit, this was a more important issue for us). But it didn't seem to be purposeful miscommunication, it seemed inadvertent--based on a lot of work going on. But all was fixed in as quick a time as could have been possible, apparently, and we arrived home safely.

We have dealt with this operation for years. Seen from the outside, it doesn't look like much. My husband says Hap Cupp is " not much on the amenities." HONEST and RELIABLE. Prices are very reasonable; these are wonderful people.

I needed ball joints replaced on front of truck. When the mechanic called to give estimate he said it would be around $300. I asked is that $300 for just one side or for both. He said both sides total $300. When I got the call to pick it up, I was told it was $250 more with a total of $550. I mentioned that the discussion I had previously had with the mechanic, but they just said, if you want your vehicle to come and pick it up. When I arrived at the garage, I was told that the Mechanic did not include the parts for one side and that was the extra. I felt they should have called me for my approval. They were not apologetic and did not offer any accommodation for their mistake. I told them a simple call could have resolved the issue or even allowed me the opportunity to make a better decision, but they did not appear to care about that. I will not return for further repairs...not because of the work or competency of the mechanic, but because of the customer service, miscommunication and possible dishonesty that occurred.

Great customer service. Actually met us on a Sunday to work on my son's car so he could return to school.

After a road trip, my tires were horrible (metal sticking out)...I called a few different places regarding new (used) tires and this was the best. I was assisted by Hap who was VERY attentive and communicative. Gave me not only an excellent price for used tires (mounted and balanced) but the tires are HIGH QUALITY and normally rather expensive. I was extremely impressed because believe me, Ive dealt with my share of mechanics and this is a gem. Hap even followed up to ensure that everything was good with the tires and the vehicle (I need new brake pads as well.) I have nothing bad to say about these guys, great work, great communication that included follow up. A+ from me.

I stopped using them after mixed results. Hap Cupp is not honest and will lie to get out of a situation, like why the car is not finished or fixed. I know he still runs the place so I just will never go there again.
