Has become my regular garage. Rob is a personable garage man and always feel like he has me in mind with options for spending money on higher mileage cars. The wonderful and pleasant woman that works nights is always helpful and nice. Car repairs can be painful enough, and the service here is great! I have never felt taken advantage of and have actually had them tell me to take my Jeep to the dealer, because they couldn't tell what was wrong and rather than starting to replace things and see if it worked, they directed me to the proper service station. That will not be forgotten!

I used this mechanic when I was a medical student (living on the same block) from 2001-2005. When I had a flat tire, they came over and pumped up the tire so I could drive it over to be repaired. Sadly, I moved out of the area. Presently, while back in the area for a short while, the "check engine" light came back on. The VW dealer stated that I needed the catlytic converter and a valve associated with the gas line/emissions fixed - over $1000. I went back to Ravenswood - the owner remembered me - and knew my name (which is fairly uncommon)! Catalytic converter fixed for much less and on the same day... and a discussion on the valve demonstrated a preference to wait and see. Excellent mechanic! (and now I am moving again...)
