I could not take my auto in to my regular mechanic because of the distance so I took it to this shop. After repairs were done on my auto I called my regular mechanic to see if I had been taken for a ride. He told me that everything including the charges were reasonable. PS. I second the choice of Accurate Alignment in Madison, WI as a good shop. Although I only went there once so do not want to fill out a survey.

Jim's was recommended to me by two different people from my
own town of Waunakee a few miles away, after my ongoing
disappointment in the local Waunakee mechanics and their
less than honorable and downright unethical methods, in my
(and from what I've heard) many other peoples' opinions.
Jim got two of my older vehicles running like new after the
aforementioned Waunakee shop's not being able to, even
though they had no trouble taking my money.
Since then, I have taken all my vehicles to him, he is very
friendly, as are his employees. He's very good about
following up when something does not go right, especially my
Check Engine light, which keeps coming back on, and he will
run it through the computer for no charge.
My daughter and son have both taken their cars in and he is
very nice to them, he treats everyone there like family,
just a great guy, does not talk down to his customers, and
instead explains exactly what is or may be going on. Jim is
someone you can just stand around and talk to, just to kill
some time. I've never felt like I was not getting the best
care at the best price from him.
I wish there were more people like Jim, not just in the auto
repair business, but more like him in the everyday
businesses we encounter.
