Jerry, the owner and chief mechanic at Percy's, is a very honest, hardworking guy who knows a great deal about keeping the old girl on the road. If anything, Jerry errs a little on saving the customer monay, never reccomending unnecessary repairs, and always trying the most economical routes to roadworthyness first. He has kep my small fleet of Subarus humming, and takes care of my '99 Grand Caravan better than the dealer. Jerry generally also knows when to send you on to a specialist, and has good connections to other honest independent garages. Since he is basically a one guy shop, though his son is helping our now, it does sometimes take him longer than he estimates for a repair.

The only place in town that works on old air-cooled VWs. There is one other place but they are very rude and really don't want to bother with them. We are very happy with the level of knowledge of the owner. Wouldn't take our little bug anywhere else.

I used to drive an MGB, which was in Percy's Shop a lot so I got to know the guys really well. But I sold it, and bought a Toyota Camry, so I didn't see them for a really long time. After a dozen years or so I finally had a reason to return to Percy's, and was surprised when Jerry called me by name. He asked if I still had the MG, and I said "no, I got tired of walking home." He understood that really well.

I use them for advice on fixing my 1970 VW convertible bug all the time. They never actually performed auto work on my vehicle, but they are very honest and helpful. They will give very helpful driving and maintenance tips. They even offered to come out and look at the bug for me one time (I did not take them up on the offer). They can get parts or point in the direction of any parts for a beetle. I would trust them with my vehicle any time and plan on bringing them my vehicle when the repairs become too substantial.

Great neighborhood service station. We've been using Percy's since 1978, when Percy was the owner, and have continued to be completely satisfied with the father/son team, Jerry & Pat, who started with Percy and took over the business when Percy retired. Great, honest & reliable mechanics.

I wouldn't take any of my vehicles anywhere else. These guys are down right great. Always honest and fair. You really can't get any better. I never doubt their work or suggestions.

Easily the best experience I've had when dealing with mechanics. I have been going to them for three years for various different problems and they have always done a great job and saved me money. They're always honest, in one case actually advising me not to get something replaced because it's not worth the money.
