The owner's assistant used to go to school with my brother and this is how I found out about Vic's. I started to take my car there and what helped me realize this was a good mechanic and has nothing to do with the work is when he finished my first job he detailed my car and found some money on the seat or on the floor and put it in my center console! That is when I knew I was dealing with an honest mechanic. Ten years later and about 5 cars later I still visit Vic's and always recommend hime to anyone whith problems I know he can fix. There are some types of work that he does not have the tools for. For instance if I need my engine rebuilt I go to Ewings. He can do suspension repairs and most services. If he cannot, he'll tell you and give you a few suggestions of who can. Be wary of Lioe's (a few miles north on Beacon Ave S). They don't know what the h*#! they are doing. Vic suggested them once but I think it was an honest mistake (or maybe they are cousins).

Vic is the most honest mechanic you could ever hope for. He has worked on every car I've ever owned and he has never let me down. I once made the mistake of taking my car to the dealership to diagnose and repair a problem. What a ripoff!!!!!!!!!! I will NEVER do that again. If you're looking for an honest, knowledgeable, experienced, reasonable mechanic this is the guy for you!
