The staff is very friendly. They seem to enjoy their work, always treat customers with respect and show appreciation for their business.

They are very respectful of their customers, probably more so than any other mechanic I have been to. The whole place just has a good "vibe" - the employees are happy, customers are happy - and I've found them to be trustworthy as well.

The people at Moss Alley are wonderful! I took my truck to them for years, and they never let me down. They took great care of my truck, were conscientious, honest and fair. And they're really nice too! I recently moved away from Seattle and wanted to bring them all with me. Now I live in a city that is hard on cars (terrible roads!) and am having car troubles. I had to have some work done on my truck and called Moss Alley for a consult - they gave me some good advice that saved me a few hundred bucks. Anyhow, I give them my highest praise and hope I can one day move back and again entrust my vehicle to them.

This shop is located near where my daughter has moved to and I was hoping I would find them on the Car Talk roster; fortunately they were! I have had good luck in the past using mechanics you guys recommended. In any case they did a great job with a recent repair for my daughter. They spoke to her like a human being and even had some female mechanics that talked to my daughter. It was a transmission code and they could have jacked up some excuse for a three thousand dollar repair. AJ the service Manager was friendly and respectful of Dad interjecting his diagnosis, (even though I was completely wrong). Long story, not much longer, the repair was fast, reasonable and my daughter left with confidence that she could return and not get ripped off!

The worst experience after a long history of going here for oil changes. AJ and Kendra unfortunately don't know how to take good care of the customer when it comes to admitting wrong-doing. Moss Alley is struggling in COVID and as a result, they are dialing up the labor charges on the service to collect more from their customers without performing valid work or requested work. Upon dropping my vehicle off on 09/21 we asked for them to call before performing any service to discuss what would be done and the fees for each portion of the service. Upon the end of the day (yes they had the car for 8-hours), they called saying the car is ready and having performed a $376+ dollar service for what was literally an oil change and an air filter change. Here's the issue with a non-trustworthy employee/shop and the poor customer service, you simply cannot charge your customer for 30min+ in labor per filter when the labor is $76+ on each filter and friends.... no right megchanic would take this kind of time on your car unless they only desired every penny in your pocket. You can do it yourself in under a minute I assure you: Upon informing AJ and Kendra that I A. didn't understand why no one called me to detail the service and charges likely we discussed and B. don't possibly understand why there is so much labor for a task taking such little time - no where remotely close to 30min+ per filter.... the response from AJ was not sorry to say the least. No no. AJ went out to the car and took the filters out in exactly the time he should have billed me for, 1 -minute friends the cabin filter took him a shocking 2.5minutes. Here's how you replace the cabin filter, shouldn't take more than 2.5min: Highly advise all Seattle customers to think twice before doing business with this shop. They were once trusty on a small service, but when you come in for the big stuff they leave you with a bunch of "inspection" fees that don't come with "diagnostics or results" and when you try and reason with them..... it's more important they not feel like it's wrong with no apologies extended. So unfortunate to see it come to this. The owner of Moss Alley should be appalled! WITHOUT A DOUBT THE LAST TIME I BRING MY CAR HERE.
