Gord'n is one of very few people you could tell, "Your mother drives an Army Land Rover" and have him respond enthusiastically. His knowledge of Rovers, mechanical sense and engineering skills are first rate. He maintains my girlfriend's '89 Range Rover and is my mechanical mentor for our Series IIa off-roader, and I recommend him highly. (He built his mother's Lightweight from British Military salvage parts, and she recommends him as well.) If you need Range Rover or Land Rover service, repair or a custom-built off-road competition machine, give him ring at (206) 361-7002. P.S. He's also the President of (and devotes a lot of time to) the Pacific Coast Rover Club -- if you'd like to participate in Rover activities and events in the area, the phone number's the same.

As I was driving through a parking garage in downtown Seattle, my stick shift broke off at the base. Not even a stub remained. Luckily I was able to coast into an empty parking space and there I was stuck as the meter clicked. Gordon packed up his kit, grabbed an extra shift lever and spent the afternoon in the parking garage. It was ready to go by the end of the day.

G&S has been servicing my Range Rover for 4 years and 90,000 miles. The Rover now has 163,000 miles and is going strong. Gord'n will only use quality parts and knows Land Rovers well enough to usually know what's wrong from the description on the phone. Very honest and treats us very fairly. He allows us to order genuine parts from Rovers North, an authorized distributor of parts for North America, thus saving us money over Dealer parts prices. The Dealer would usually have to order the part anyway. I would highly recommend G & S Services to any Land Rover owner. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Quality service at a competitive price.
