I had a problem with rough indling after i changed a hose from the radiator. I called the shop and they said they probably wouldn't get to the car till the next day. I recieved a call from them 2 hours later and was told that the problem was the oxygen sensor. Bruce asked me if i had put any additives in my fuel system since the end of my oxy sensor had magnesium on it, thus causing problems in the combustion chamber. He was very thorough and was not at all condescending in his explanation/diagnosis of the problem. After the explanation, he told me they had the oxy sensor in stock and that i could pick up my car the next hour. This, to me, is service above and beyond the call of duty.

My family has been bringing their cars to Honest Auto for over 5 years and practically begged me to take my car there when it acted up. Bruce diagnosed and repaired my 1994 Camaro Z28 professionally and accuratly the first time. He explained the problem, the procedure he took to diagnose it, and the fix in a way I could understand. The entire experience was very good! I will return there for future service!

We have been taking our cars to Honest Auto for nearly 10
years now. They underwent an ownership change in 2003 when
the former owner and lead mechanic retired/moved out of
state, and only one mechanic survived the transition.
However, the new owner (Howard) and crew are as reliable and
competent as always. My one BIG complaint is that they are
no longer open on Saturdays, so I have to take an afternoon
off work to take care of routine car maintenance. But they
do great work, so it is worth it!

I took my car there before and after Howard was the owner. The
service maintained its quality under the new ownership.
Howard is very nice and takes time to answer questions. The work
has been good. The one time I had a problem with a repair, I
came in without an appointment, and they fixed it immediately
while I waited. Nice people, good work!
(I've moved to Portland and am very sad that I need to find a new
mechanic!)

We have taken our cars to Honest Auto (based on these
recommendations) since 1998. Every repair has been on time
or sooner, at estimated cost or less, and with politeness,
cleanliness, sympathy and good will. They replaced an
alternator on our van that failed 9 months later, and
replaced it under warranty at no cost and no fuss. I have
total confidence in Honest Auto.

I went here to fix a squealing noise in my brakes. They
fixed the problem (new drums) quickly at a fair price. If I
hadn't moved recently I'd still go there for my car.

I have used this shop for the past 10 years. I have
always been treated fairly and with respect. Never have
had a problem with any service they've performed to date.
They are an honest shop.
