Carl has worked on my family's cars since we've been in Seattle. The cars have included Toyotas, Hondas, and Volvos. I've always found him to be outstanding- he makes sure to fully explain the necessary work and will save money on parts when possible. His shop is a good one.

Over the past 7 years, Carl has saved me thousands of dollars in repairs by telling me I didn't need to replace things I thought I did. Either he doesn't like money, or he's telling the truth. Carl is worth his weight in gold; and so is knowing you won't be cheated by your mechanic.

My wife is the one who found him, and was pleased with his work and in the way he treated her. So I gave him a try. Carl has worked on a number of cars for me, my wife, children. He has treated them well. The only exception was one of my sons. This because they had a personality conflict. Both are convinced that they know a lot. The truth is that when it comes to cars, Carl does. When I was buying a used car, I had Carl check three different ones. He barely looked at the first two, explaining to me that they had obvious problems and it would be a waste of my money to have him spend more time. The third car he looked over quickly, and said it was worth doing a thorough inspection. That done in a timely fashion, he presented me with a list of repairs, some of which would need to be done soon, some later. His advice was "Buy it!" I did, he did the repairs; For eight years I had very few minor problems with the car. Thanks Carl!

Carl diagnosed the problem correctly (I needed a new starter) and he fixed it. He relayed the problems he has had in the past with buying aftermarket rebuilt starters, thus explaining to me why he only uses Toyota rebuilt starters. I heard a similiar story from others. Most important of all, he was very friendly and answered my questions.
