These guys have always been there when I needed them. They the are good at finding the source of problems and they do what they say they will do promptly and at a reasonable price.

This shop is great. Prices are a little higher than some shops, but in exchange you get highly competent mechanics who don't feel the need to aggressively push unnecessary repairs on you. The place always seems busy, and with that kind of business, you know that don't need to gouge anyone. I'll give one example. I took my car there after someone cracked the glass on my rear view mirror. They said that the repair part would be the entire unit--about 100 bucks! They told me that seemed like a waste of money and suggested I just go to a glass shop instead a few miles down the road. Because of their advice, I wound up paying only 15 bucks for the repair.

I really want to like these guys, but they just keeping doing annoying things and not making any attempt at customer service to make up for it. They must be doing a good job on someone's car, because they're so busy they can't remember to fix mine, or find time to conveniently reschedule, and they obviously don't care to keep me as a customer or they'd be more accommodating when they screw up. Alas, I'm on the hunt again for a reliable mechanic that doesn't leave me feeling like I should be apologizing to THEM when I take my car in and leave unhappy and dissatisfied.

Took my Toyota Camry there to diagnose a problem with the car not idling. They spent about three hours trying to diagnose the issue and deemed it was a problem with the instrument cluster (bad check engine light) and wiring harness. Because they couldn't service the instrument cluster, they sent me to the dealership with no charge for their diagnosis. I am taking my car back soon and got a very reasonable estimate for another repair. Mike is very straightforward, honest, and will always call you before they do any work on your car. They've earned my business.

I've been going to Budd & Company for at least 20 years. Originally recommended by a friend with fleet vans. I've never had an issue with repair, replacement of parts, price or quality of service. Things are always completed as quickly as parts availability allow. I've had a vintage 1980 Toyota Corolla, 87 Accord hatchback; 95 Honda Accord sedan; 2002 Toyota Corolla, 2006 Scion xA, and now a 2013 Scion xD. Always have received good communication, timely recommendations on after-market service - and concern from all of the staff. Bus goes right by taking me downtown to work.
