I really, really like this shop. I've been there twice with my first car, and they have always been completely honest with me, told me what needed to get done, and most importantly, shown me why. They've opened up the hood and spent twenty minutes showing me what was wrong, and also gave me a quick lesson in basic auto maintenance. I heard of them from a friend and have not heard anything bad about them, ever. All the mechanics fix Volvo's as hobbies as well as their job, and are extremely competent, and know the cars inside and out. DEFINITELY recommended!

I really can't say enough good things about them. They have an eye for details; they caught things that 3 other mechanics missed (small things like hoses not having clamps, or oil-filters installed incorrectly..) They always are up front about the cost before they do anything, and make sure if something comes they ask you about it before they render the car in-operable! They really do know their volvo's in and out; I love talking cars with them because they have great pearls of wisdom & are always willing to share them!

I have used this shop for many years and for repair of the many different Volvo automobiles I have owned and never had a complaint regarding their work.

I figure mechanics are a bit like surgeons...neither should be selected based on lowest price. So it is with All Volvo. They are competent and do quality work at probably $10/hr more than they guys down the street. But, they're worth it. Also, they treat my wife very well whenever she has to drop off the car- the owner even greats her by name.

Watch your wallet! Looking at my girlfriend's receipts I saw some strange charges: 2 transmission flushes in 2011 and 2012? It took 3 visits to fix (?) a running rough problem and AV didn't call us when the work was finished. We had to call on the second day to find out the car was done. I brought the car to a well reviewed shop over in the Roosevelt District and found out that the relatively new cam seals are seeping oil. I was told that if the cam seal work had been done correctly that there shouldn't be seepage after only 15,000 miles. Maybe they were leaking from DAY 1? Also the mechanic at the Roosevelt shop was somewhat surprised at the rates charged for the work done. I have convinced my girlfriend not to go there again. Conveniently located but that's about it.
