Great little shop in Bellingham. I've been taking my Subaru Outback there for the last 7 years, and Zach has always been fair, competent, and also happy to talk to me about whether or not i really need to fix something - I don't care much about cosmetic stuff on cars and he knows i just like to keep it running, and he doesn't try to talk me into anything that doesn't need to be done for the longevity of my car.
I also found myself in a predicament where i bought a car from a dealer, drove it home, had Zach look at it, and he found that it had serious problems and was unsafe to drive. He called the dealer and really went to the mat for me and let them have it, and took a big part of his day communicating with me about the issue and making sure the dealer didn't keep screwing with me.
Bottom line, I would recommend his shop very highly. I never have any worries about being nickeled and dimed, and he's given me good tips looking for worthwhile cars now that i'm looking for a different one.
