This my second post regarding Fairchild European Automotive Repair. In
short, Kim and Bruce run the best shop I've ever dealt with. Bruce has
maintained my Saab 9000 since it was freed from the shackles of dealership
warranty. I purchased the car used off lease. Its early life was pretty ugly and
set the stage for many problems. I felt like pushing the car off a cliff. Bruce
has made the car a joy to live with. I do oil changes with them at a cost that is
roughly double to almost anywhere else, but I consider each visit akin to a
well child exam. Bruce notes any impending problems and frequently has
discouraged my neurotic urge to fix sooner than necessary. I do not know
how competitive they are on a price basis. For me Fairchild's rock solid
competence, super ethical advice, and unparalleled great service is priceless.

Bruce is now the sole owner and I've only dealt with him in
the past in any event. Bruce keeps my Volvo C70
convertible in brand new condition at reasonable cost. I
would not hesitate to recommend him for any mechanical job
large or small.

I have taken my 2001 SAAB 9-5 to Bruce since we bought it
in 2005. Every service, while not cheap (it is a SAAB
after all), has been on time, complete and without further
issue. He is very knowledgeable about new generation SAABs,
and I would not hesitate to bring any euro car to his shop.
