My first time there was due to the wife's VW Jetta accident in 2004- I've been a happy customer ever since! The owner (Sam) is personable and respectful to all his customers, and he explains the problems, symptoms and corrective actions in great detail. (He even has old parts where he can give you demonstration of what's going on under the hood.) His shop manager (David) is an expert that might even stand up to Click and Clack. He gives the honest assessment of what fault codes really mean, and advises the customer on things that are safety concerns, mechanical breakdowns, or potential rip-offs that don't need repaired. I take all my vehicles (VW, Ford, Toyota) to them for honest, fair and reliable service.

I have been very pleased with my experience at Auto Haus and I have recommended this mechanic to several people. I have taken my Jetta there two or three times over the past few years and they are worth making the drive from Ghent. They are friendly and honest and even give me a 10% military discount! I have some more work that needs to be done with the car so I will be heading back to them soon!

1. Promised completion date, missed the date 3 times. 2. Set appointment for 9am, didn't open to 10:30. 3. Had to redo work due to bad workmanship and bad analysis 4. Charged for more work then was necessary (opinion)
