Know their stuff, happy to explain what's going on. Nice to be able to talk to the guy who's been under your car instead of a middle-person "service writer."

I have owned my 1989, yes, 1989 5 series since 1993. It has been a very affordable, reliable car. The dealers charge too much and are not as reliable. Atlantic tells you what you need to do, what you should do and what you can do at a later date. Now that they have automated their service records, it is easier to see what has been done. If you are looking to buy a used car, they tell what the pitfalls are. Good Guys!

This is a well rounded group, very knowledgeable and informative. They will be the first to tell you what they can't as well as what they can do. Honest rates and very personable.

Have been bringing my BMWs to Atlantic Autowerks for approximately 14 years. I used to own a '91 E30, and they always took time to explain any issue or rescue my poorly executed attempt at maintenance on my own in a few cases. I now have a newer E90, and I still bring my car to Atlantic, even though it's inside the warranty period, because I trust their judgment and treatment of my car. They are professional, courteous and genuinely enjoy working on BMWs of all years. Strong recommendation for them to do all - from preventative maintenance to major engine repair, if necessary.

I caught this place trying to sell me a new battery as they told me the current one was "bad"; they even took me in the back and showed me a snap-on tool connected to the battery with some numbers that they interpreted as "bad". Now this is a big deal in a BMW - around $400 with labor. Awesome show, however - unfortunately I'm an electrical engineer and recognized that they were full of baloney. Just to make sure I wasn't biased and jumped to conclusions, I took it to a brick & mortar parts store to have it tested - and then to a local battery manufacturer. At both places the battery tested SAT. I know that this place has some good reviews, but I can assure it they were caught in a bold faced lie and therefore I wonder how many "good" reviews were posted by customers who were bamboozled in the first place - which is easy to do with complex cars like BMW. Very sad, if you can't trust the indy mechanics - who can you trust???? Very sad.
