Every time I visit, they are very friendly and polite. They have never once been attitude prone because I'm female. They are honest without a doubt and will refer me to Subaru on the rare occasion they think that's best. I have referred friends to HRM and they also rave about the services rec'd.

HRM (Tim, Tony et. al.) have worked on my car, and all the cars of my parents and siblings over the years. I've never known them to be anything but honest and reliable. The only problem is that they're very busy, so your repair may have to wait, but they're always right about when they expect to get to your car. I moved out of the suburbs and into the city so I'm looking for a mechanic in-town, but if you live in Springfield, you should definitely keep HRM in mind.

I have taken my 2 Isuzu Troopers to these guys since I discovered them about 6 years ago. They have also worked on my son's cars when it has been convenient. I'm much more concerned about competency than price, but I don't feel I'm being ripped off by them. The one time a defective part was installed, they paid for a rental. Much better service than any Isuzu dealer I've been to.

HRM Stands for Honest Reliable Mechanics and Tony and Tim certainly are that. They took great care of my Chrysler and Madza, even sold the Chrysler for me after 215,000 miles. Highly recommend them.

Hey guys, here is the address for your page... 8086 Alban Road, Springfield, Va. I've been using this shop for a number of years to repair my commercial vehicles, my perwonal vehicles, as well as recommending them to my friends and acquaintences...they do excellent repair work...have never had a problem with their time when a part they installed went bad, bhey worked with the manufacturer of the part to cover the entire cost of the repair, as well as replacement of some things that the defective part caused to go bad...really good folks!

We've been taking our family vehicles to Tony and Tim (owner) for going on 5 years. We have been treated like family every time. They diagnose problems quickly and efficiently and repair things right the first time. I recommend them to anyone.

If there's a Golden Globe award in the automotive world, Bill Lewis and Tim O'Connell of HRM get the prize. I've had them work on six different cars since 2001 and they get it right the first time. They are courteous and take the time to explain the problem -- before doing the work. They get it done on time, too. These guys are the best in the Newington/Springfield area. A bus line makes dropoff and pickup easy.

Only open Monday through Friday, which is difficult for those of us who have a regular 9-5 job. I asked for references for people open on Saturday and he said, "nobody that I could recommend." What, did he think that meant I'd suddenly take a day off of work to get my car fixed at his shop? How unhelpful.

I was having problems with my brake pads glazing up on my '90 Vette. They tried multiple solutions but I kept getting noise. Finally they had a new product that they hadn't used before and so couldn't vouch for it. They put it on for me to try and didn't charge me for it - they just asked me to let them know if it worked. They were obviously more concerned with getting the job done right and learning how to serve their customers better rasther than just making a buck. Refreshing! Tony and Tim are great to work with and I highly recommend HRM.

HRM is a great place to get your car serviced, have used them for several years. They sometimes try to up-sell (pressure) you to buy services you may not want or need.(ie: BG flushes) Ever since they scored highly in a Washington Consumers Checkbook survey, they have raised their prices. They are not open on Saturday. Still a very good repair facility.
