This shop is GREAT! Pete Millar, the owner and head mechanic, headed up the SAAB repair shop at the Richmond dealership and decided to open up his own shop in order to give customers a better experience than the dealership was willing to provide. Pete is the only SAAB master technician in Richmond, and he's always been able to fix on the first try the fleet of SAABs I've owned over the years. He's completely honest, incredibly nice and will take the time to explain what's wrong with your car and why/whether you should fix it, even if you know nothing about cars (like me). Right now, SAABTech is a one-man shop so it may take a few days to get your car in, but judging by how much business he's getting already, I suspect he'll be hiring other mechanics soon.

I am not a direct customer of SAABTech, but felt compelled to leave feedback from my indirect contact! I do all my own work from frame up restorations to engine rebuilds and know quite a bit about cars. I recently bought a 1999 Saab 9-5 wagon that had been maintained by SAABTech and can just tell they do a phenomenal job. The records from the shop that the previous owner gave me were very detailed and the prices paid were exceptionally good. In looking around the engine bay and under the car, I can tell what was previously done as the shop would label certain things and clearly indicate repairs and maintenance on the parts! That is attention to detail! The previous owner of the car said the shop owner even offered for me to call to get a full run down on the vehicle.

We kissed a lot of frogs before we found Pete. This shop is honest, reasonably priced, and they always take the time to explain exactly why and what they're doing. We will never take our cars anywhere else.
