First time I took my car for tuneup, and when I picked up the car later that day, I was pleasentaly surprise to know the car didn't need tunepup, just some adjusments. The bill was $20. First time ever, the car diddn't need much more done than I wanted or I thought it needed.

I have been taking my Camry to Bill's ever since I moved to the area 2 years ago, and my dad has been taking his car there for 9 years. I've always been pleased with their customer service and their turnaround time. The staff is very friendly, and will explain what does (and doesn't) need to be repaired. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other experiences I've had in Northern Virginia. They even have night drop off so my car can be there waiting when they open the next morning! I'm a woman, and I really appreciate that they don't talk down to me like so many other mechanics do, nor do they show surprise when I say something mechanical. I didn't answer the question about public transportation, because I don't know if there's a bus stop nearby or not. There's no metro station in town, but there's a VRE station that's about a 5 minute cab ride away.

I have been taking my cars here for 20+ years. They are always honest and reliable. If a part costs $3 and it takes a few seconds to put it in, they charge $3. If Bill is around (he's retired now, his son's in charge) he has given me a ride home. I also like that they will not bump a loyal customer ahead of a new customer who has been waiting longer. They are fair to all.
