A coworker recommended them to me in 1999. They've been my mechanic ever since. I've tried mechanics closer to where I live, but while they were satisfactory, it wasn't enough for me to switch. I've always had very good and timely service with Nutley Chevron. They even tell me if there's anything about my car that may potentially need looking into.

The only shop I will take my car to- I completely trust the work they do. There can sometimes be a language barrier to get over in discussing things, but they know what they are talking about and are very honest and up-front. I recently had some issues with a new used car that the acura dealership either couldn't or wouldn't identify; I brought in to have Paul and his guys look at, and they not only didn't look at me like I was crazy (unlike the dealership), but suggested 3 possible causes and fixes. If the car wasn't still covered under the dealer warranty, I would take it to Nutley Street to have this fixed, no doubt. I honestly don't have a clue how much they charge for labour any longer- I just give them my car when it needs work, and know that it will get fixed properly and quickly the first time.
