Once my water pump blew 5 minutes before Tony's closing time -- his tow truck was gone, but he called another tow service to come and get me, kept his doors open until we got there, paid the tow driver, and then drove me home! Tony has a large and dedicated customer base, and a wall full of thank you letters. He has a number of mechanics, (including his brother and his brother-in-law), who each specialize on various kinds of cars, and he is always taking special courses to learn more. One time he was even taking a Maserati course (yeah, how many of THOSE does he get through the door?)

Tony's is a great place to bring your car, any car. I've seen Mercedes and old junkers parked right next to each other and they treat each of the cars and customers with the same type of care. I have recommended Tonys to several people and gotten the same positive feedback about the shop. The staff is professional and the shop is located only a few blocks from a metro station. Wonderful!

A female friend of mine recommended Tony's. She said Tony's was the only place that could fix her 1950's truck. I've been burned by mechanics in the past, but had just 'inherited' a 1984 Buick station wagon, and figured I had nothing to lose, since it was on its last legs. I took the car in on three separate occasions and was thrilled with the promptness of repairs, the friendliness of the employees and the relatively inexpensiveness of the repair costs. Then the thing was stolen...(never thought anyone would steal such a heap)...and when it was found, it was really on its last legs. I took it to Tony's to see if there was anything that could be done. They were very honest about costs and said it would cost more to fix than what it was worth. So I went without a car, and never got to go back to Tony's before I moved out-of-state. I highly recommend Tony's!!

Have been taking our cars to Tony's for about 20 years. Except for transmissions (AAMCO) and mufflers (Midas), they have done almost all other work on a variety of makes, from routine maintenance to engine and body repair to engine replacement (on our current 87 Olds SW). Prices reasonable (so far as I can tell) on everything from parts to tires, re- repairs rare but done as necessary, doesn't release a car until sure the work is done, will point out other needed repairs to assure safety. We have bought refurbished cars there, both for selves and for our children, and got good value. "Convenience" of hours of operation is only a "3" because we work long hours, so have to plan our pickups; their 12-hour days are certainly convenience for most folks. JMyer

I have an old, cop car, customized in various ways over the years. Many "mechanics" can't handle the customizations, some of which were done by the state highway patrol. By Tony's seemed to have spotted the problem, saving me a lot of money by fixing what needed to be fixed. Called me promptly, and had the car read days before I thought it would be. In short I'm a happy customer and will go back. Found them through this site and glad I did.

These guys are straight shooters. I have recommended Tony to friends without hesitation. They are willing to spend time on the phone with you if you can't understand the explanation of repairs the first time around, and all without making you feel like a fool. Never had them screw up, so can't comment on that.

I have used Tony's for 25 years, Tony and his brother are easy to work with, take time to explain repairs, guarantee their work, most repairs usually completed in a day, I would recommend them to anyone.
