The staff at this garage are, above all else, honest and fair, qualities which are invaluable to the average car owner. I usually have a hard time trusting mechanics, this distrust having been created over years of dealing with dishonorable mechanics, particulary those employed at dealerships. Finally, I have found a shop where I do not worry at all about being shafted by a mechanic. If these guys say my vehicle needs something, it's because the vehicle needs something, not because they need another big screen TV at home. I'll never go anywhere else.

After finding this shop through the mechanics files, I could be happier! They did a great job on our Jeep. Great garage! We will definitely use them again.

I gladly add Aposhian Garage (owner Rick Aposhian) to the list of recommended shops. A few months ago, I initially visited Aposhian to have my oil changed, and they did a good job. My real praise comes after my second visit, today. Last week I dropped my car off at the dealer for a mandated state safety inspection. I returned to find that the dealer wanted $1300 worth of "required repairs." As one of the many recently unemployed Americans, this demand for $$$ came as an unwelcome surprise to me. On a whim, I decided to let Rick's team at Aposhian take a look at the car and give me a second opinion, without telling them what parts had "failed" the dealer's inspection. (I'm all for safety, and if a part was bad, I'd replace it, no matter the cost.) I breathed a huge sigh of relief when Rick told me that the car was in good shape. I asked specifically about the parts the dealer claimed were "safety hazards." Rick assured me that these parts were OK. I then asked Rick how much it would cost to have these parts replaced and he estimated $900. When these parts do wear out, Rick knows I'll be bringing the car to him for repair. Honesty and a good valuehow can you beat that?! Aposhian Garage obviously knows that these two core values are what it takes to win my business, and the customers they've been serving since 1928!

I send my aging Mother here for safe, compent and fair repair. It's close to her home.

I feel that Rick and his crew have always treated me fairly and honestly. They are contentious and concerned about customer satisfaction. They've kept my '86 Nissan Sentra running longer than I thought possible.

You can't be in business for nearly 80 years and not be good, especially the car repair business. I took my Saturn in to have what I thought was a bad CV joint repaired. In no time I received a call informing me that all CV joints were fine and the suspicious noise I was hearing was caused by a broken motor mount (who'd have thought). I had previously taken it to another shop and they failed to diagnose the problem, so when it worsened I took it to Aposhian's. The car was repaired quickly and they even sent me a thank you letter. I would highly recommend this shop!

Whether it's for an oil change, safety inspection, or serious repairs, this is my number one choice vehicle repair shop. Their parking lot may be small but they accomplish repairs expeditiously and for me it has always been in and out the same day. I have them do all car maintenance work for my Nisson Pathfinder and my husband's Toyota Corolla. Yes, they treat me with respect and answer all my questions fully. I'm going back this week for a replacement belt and air filter.

This is a 4th-generation operation--three generations are currently working there. Always honest. Always clear. Friendly people who suck it up when they make the rare mistake. They work on all makes. They're at a major intersection (3300 S. and Highland Drive) where buses run, and when I've asked, I've gotten a ride home from them. It's a mom-and-pop (and sister, son and grandpa) business that is in business for the long haul--and that's by treating their customers right.
